Between the two, they have competed in over 60 "50-mile" races, 3 "137-mile", 1 "147-mile", 2 "100-mile" races, 70 marathons, 19 Ironman distance triathlons, 14 Ironman World Championships, 40 Triathlons and 10 "200-mile" bike events. The sisters are known for their amazing athletic accomplishments, their adventurous expeditions and their international motivational speaking seminars. |

In 1959, Ray Norton held the world records in four track and field events which include 100 and 200 Meter and 100 and 200 Yard. Ray won 3 gold medals in the Pan Am Games where he also carried the American Flag. He later won another 3 gold medals in the US-Russian meet. He competed in the following year's Olympic Summer Games and finished 5th due to injury. Shortly there after, he began a 3 season career in the NFL, being drafted by the San Francisco 49er's. After the NFL Ray Norton would go on to coach some of the fastest humans on earth. Olympian and World Record holder in the 100 Meter in 1968, Jim Heinz; World's Fastest Human in 1978, Houston McTear; and he now works with one of the world's current fastest men, Jeff Laynes and continues to coach future Olympians. |

During his 15-year career, he participated in each of the nine AFL All-Star games that were played and in the AFC-NFC Pro Bowl the first three seasons that postseason classic was scheduled. Jim never missed a game. When he retired following the 1974 season, he had started in 210 straight games in regular season but had played in 308 games as a Raider. Otto punished his body greatly during his NFL career, resulting in nearly 40 surgeries, including 28 knee operations (nine of them during his playing career alone) and multiple joint replacements. His joints are riddled with arthritis, and he has debilitating back and neck problems. One time, Otto nearly died on the operating table. He also fought off three life-threatening bouts of infections due to his artificial joints, and during one six-month stretch, was without a proper right knee joint because he had to wait for the infection to clear up before another artificial one could be implanted. |
